RepulsedIf all people are created equal, then we should be treated as such.
And by banning marriage to specific people is a contradiction of the US constitution.
Sure, it may not mention anything of the right to gays.
But still. "All (men) are created equal" is a lie as of the condition of the United States.
I love my nation, but I'd love it even more if I or many other didn't have to run away to another country to get married legally to someone of my own sex.
It's not fair, and the government needs to check itself.
But what with the economy the way it is, I feel that they're too chicken to change anything.
And then there's the majority of republicans who are totally against gays in general and don't feel they should be treated equal.
Which again is a contradiction.
Anywho, I want to hear your opinions on this matter.
