dude, that OFF bug spray doesn't work unless you soak yourself in it.

so, my aunt, dad, grandma and i just got back from the annual Herr's Factory fireworks, up in Nottingham, PA. It's only about 6 miles form here <3
and this year, we didn't want to sit in chairs; we wanted to sit on a blanket.
so, my aunt decided to spray everyone in that OFF stuff.
and i ended up spraying my arms and legs multiple times, because ants, ticks, and moths kept swarming us.
then, i got an idea...
why not just soak the ground around out blanket with that?
well, that kept two fo the three away.
moths where there, so i sprayed my hair with it xD
then, i took a nice long shower after we got home :P

I'm hoping everyone had a good Fourth, and i'm happy America got through another year, even if it was horrible as far as economics and whatnot.






ANYWHO, i should be going to bed; gotta get to bed so i can say bye to my dad tomorrow morning <3 (he's headed back to Ohio)

We didn't have a problem with ticks or moths or ants, our problem was with the freaking gnats
cause we went to the field where they were doing the fireworks like 9 hours before they went off cause they had a bunch of fun stuff for kids and stuff to do.. i sat and read all day xD but luckily gnats only come out at daytime so when it was time for fireworks there was no problem bug-wise.

hehe, well, the Herr's Factory has a large 50-some acres of land, and about 30 of it is a forest, with trails and wildlife, so ticks are very common in the field, which is where they have their fireworks display.
